How to Grow

45-50 seed/gram. A somewhat finicky perennial to start, it requires a cooler temperature of 16 C (60 F) for germination (which normally requires about 20 days). Soak seed for 24 hours prior to sowing indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost date. After germination, grow on under lights at the same temperature before hardening off and transplanting to the garden in a sunny site. Direct garden seeding can also be done late in the fall.
